7 Habits of Highly Successful People

Behind every successful person stand some cultivated practices that make success inevitable. You can utilize these same 7 easy -to-apply methods.

 

1.     Good habits 

The more healthy and productive activities you’re able to do on autopilot, the more successful you’ll become. Why? As creatures of habit, we do 80% of things on a given day without thinking. These well-worn patterns are just part of who we are.

A habit take minimal motivation because you do it automatically. That’s why using your habitual nature in your favor is the easiest way to success.

 

First, identify precisely which habits will improve your life in every area of your life. Career, relationships, health and personal areas of your life all need to be addressed here.

Once your good habits are identified, use a habit tracker to implement one healthy habit at a time.

 

2.     Gratitude

Successful people know how to cultivate positive thinking into their lives – and gratitude is one of the most powerful ways to do this.

When you focus daily on what you are grateful for in your own life, it’s harder for comparison game to creep it’s way in. And when you feel abundant and positive it’s a lot more motivating to go after your goals.

That’s why so many successful people practice gratitude.

Simply make a note of one thing you’re grateful for every day and observe how this influences your thinking.

 

3.     Mindfulness

Every successful person has gone through ups and downs on their way to success. They are the investable part of growth.  The important part here is to learn to set the right attitude in relation to your obstacles.

 Mindfulness helps you find your inner peace despite your obstacles. It’s about being fully present and accepting the situation for what it is. It helps you properly manage stress and anxiety, recover fast and stay on top of your game.

4.     Thrive in discomfort 

Great things never come from comfort zones. Success lies in the things you didn’t know you could do. It’s the result of risk taking, and striving for big goals.

Successful people are thriving in discomfort because they accept it as an inevitable part of success. Make it a habit for yourself to put yourself out there and take that risk!

5.     Budgeting your time

You have to forget about “lack of time” for doing what you’ve been putting off. One of the main keys to success is leveraging your time properly.  We all have the same amount of time in a day and that’s why prioritizing it properly will make a huge difference in your life.

 See which activities you can get rid of, which ones you can delegate, and which ones need to be done first thing in the morning.  Get into a habit of using a daily planner, which helps you prioritize and leverage your time properly.

  

6.     Journaling 

Daily journaling can help you reach your subconscious: your limiting beliefs and your potential.

Journaling helps with processing your inner emotions and thoughts, make sense of events in your life and create mental clarity. It helps to get to know yourself, to understand your strength and weaknesses and set your subconscious to work toward your success.

As Tony Robbins says – “It is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped”.

Life is a series of decisions – some are made as a product of conscious thinking, some on the subconscious, some as a product of habit and some as a product of fear. Decisions are like small and big turns on your road to success.

 With every decision, you choose a direction of your life.  Breaking down your decisions is super important to make those “good” life turns. For bigger decisions, use pen and paper to deep dive on your decision: what do you accept to get as a result of this decision?  What are the risks involved? How will this decision affect your life in every area?
