How to Stay Active and Fit During a Lockdown
Ever since Covid-19 has hit the world, lockdown has become a new norm. It is definitely a worrying and stressful time, but we need to keep ourselves relaxed and motivated to fight it. Instead of stressing, you can think of it as a time to discover yourself and the things you like.
Below are some tips for you to stay fit and active even during a lockdown:
Go for a walk
Keeping yourself physically active during a lockdown can be a bit of a challenge. Try to make it a habit to go for a walk each day, even if it is only for 15-20 minutes. You can put your favorite music on your phone or call someone close to you while you enjoy a walk. While you do that, remember to practice social distancing.
Join an online fitness class
You can’t go to a gym during a lockdown, but what’s stopping you from joining online fitness classes? You can also find workout sessions on YouTube and practice them in your free time. What’s better, you can do the same workout with a friend through a video call.
Put on some music and dance
What’s better than dancing your way through lockdown? Dancing is a fun activity to keep yourself physically active. So, whenever you have free time, just put on your favorite music and dance as if nobody is watching you.
Do your home chores
Try to perform your home chores in your free time. You may find it boring at first, but once you start doing it, you’ll find yourself being more involved and satisfied. You can put in headphones, play your favorite music, and do your chores to make it a fun activity.
